These landscapes and seascapes aim to bring the outside in by showing wide vistas of sky and sea, in all sorts of weather, from cloudy skies to sunny days.

  1. Christine Thomas, Gaube Lake (2018) Digital photograph taken at Gaube Lake in the Pyrenees in France with a Panasonic DMC-TZ100; exposure 1/250 at f/8.0 ISO 125 focal length 9.1mm and edited in Lightroom.
  2. Samantha Jeffs, Gathering Storm (2016) A stolen moment watching the storm clouds gather while on train, on the way to London from MK. Taken on an iPhone and subsequently processed using Snapseed to enhance the image and add a border.
  3. Christine Thomas, Brancaster Beach on a windy day (2019) Taken on Brancaster Beach, Norfolk on a very windy winter day with a Canon EOS 700D; exposure 1/160 at f/13 ISO 100 focal length 35mm. cropped and edited in Lightroom.
  4. Nicky Newlands, Minimal Field (2020) Canon EOS R 1/400 sec. f/16 49 mm, ISO 320. 
  5. Jean Rowton, Low tide (2019) Nikon 5600 1/1250 sec. f/8 155 mm, ISO 400 Edited in Photoshop to enhance the colours. 
  6. Liz Whitelegg, Overstrand to Cromer (2017) Taken on a walk along the beach from Overstrand to Cromer. DMC-GX80, 1/400 sec. f/10 32 mm, ISO 200. Edited in Lightroom.
  7. Samantha Jeffs, Southport Pier (2016) Sunset over Southport Pier while the tide was out. Taken on an iPhone then subsequently processed using Snapseed to bring out the definition in the clouds.
  8. Christine Thomas The Quiraing (2019) Taken on the Isle of Skye, Scotland of The Quiraing with a Canon EOS 700D; exposure 1/50 at f/18 ISO 100 focal length 18mm and edited in Lightroom.
